This role is super easy! You will be busy just before the start of the school year and the end for wrapping up. Otherwise, it runs itself.


·         Run 7 total PTA meetings, which really consists of Mr. Diveley giving awesome presentations, and then just running through the list of what is going on.

·         Attend 7 PTA council meetings. These are held at the Administration building and meets with Dr. Gordon and all Presidents of the PTAs across the 5 schools as well as council members, representatives and committee members.

·         Contribute to the monthly newsletter.


The extras that I have done that could be handed to a volunteer: Welcome to the Den (just organize the student activity. No need to go or run it), work Wildcat Welcome to hand out school supply kits and bags. Also order school supply kits and bags. This role is not time consuming and can be shared.



·         Receive all monies of the PTA

·         Keep an accurate record of receipts and expenditures

·         Place all monies in a depository approved by the executive board

·         Pay out funds in accordance with the budget as approved by the membership and authorized by properly signed vouchers.

·         Present a written financial statement at every meeting of the organization and at other times as requested by the executive board making a full report at the regular meeting in May

·         Be responsible for the remittance of the state and national portion of the dues paid by each Member

·         Be responsible for completion and filing of appropriate forms as may be required by Internal Revenue Service Regulations no later than the date established by the regulations.

·         Annual audit.



This is a very easy position with a time commitment of 15-30 minutes per week

·         Attend and take minutes at monthly PTA meetings (7 total, about 1 hr each)

·         Participate, discuss and vote on official PTA matters

·         Schedule weekly eblast (no experience required

·         Import and maintain contacts for weekly ebast (no experience required)

·         Read and distribute emails from Hadley general email account

·         Maintain and preserve PTA records and important documents


Vice President Membership

·         Assists with maintaining the list of PTA members, including inputting new members into our database at registration time and as new members join during the year

·         Attend Start-Up Day at the beginning of the school year to assist with registration and answering questions.

·         Maintain DirectorySpot


Vice President Volunteers 

·         Assist with filling chair and volunteer slots for the various PTA committees

·         Maintains contact lists

·         Answers questions for volunteers
